CNSF Office of Cyberinfrastructure (OCI)
The Office of Cyberinfrastructure coordinates and supports the acquisition, development and provision of state-of-the-art cyberinfrastructure resources, tools and services essential to the conduct of 21st century science and engineering research and education.

NEH Office of Digital Humanities (ODH)
Our primary mission is to help coordinate the NEH's efforts in the area of digital scholarship. As in the sciences, digital technology has changed the way scholars perform their work. It allows new questions to be raised and has radically changed the ways in which materials can be searched, mined, displayed, taught, and analyzed. Technology has also had an enormous impact on how scholarly materials are preserved and accessed, which brings with it many challenging issues related to sustainability, copyright, and authenticity.

Common Language Ressources and Technology Infrastructures (CLARIN)
The CLARIN project is a large-scale pan-European collaborative effort to create, coordinate and make language resources and technology available and readily usable. CLARIN offers scholars the tools to allow computer-aided language processing, addressing one or more of the multiple roles language plays (i.e. carrier of cultural content and knowledge, instrument of communication, component of identity and object of study) in the Humanities and Social Sciences.

Text Encoding Initiative Consortium (TEI-C)
The Text Encoding Initiative Consortium is an international organization whose mission is to develop and maintain guidelines for the digital encoding of literary and linguistic texts. The Consortium publishes the Text Encoding Initiative Guidelines for Electronic Text Encoding and Interchange: an international and interdisciplinary standard that is widely used by libraries, museums, publishers, and individual scholars to represent all kinds of textual material for online research and teaching.

Project Bamboo
Bamboo is a multi-institutional, interdisciplinary, and inter-organizational effort that brings together researchers in arts and humanities, computer scientists, information scientists, librarians, and campus information technologists to tackle the question: How can we advance arts and humanities research through the development of shared technology services?

DARIAH
DARIAH’s mission is to facilitate long-term access to, and use of all European arts and humanities data for the purposes of research. DARIAH is the digital research infrastructure that will connect scholarly data archives and repositories with cultural heritage for the arts and humanities across Europe, making scattered resources accessible through one click.

Common Language Resources and their Applications (CLARA)
CLARA is a Marie Curie Initial Training Network which will train a new generation of researchers who will be able to cooperate across national boundaries on the establishment of a common language resources infrastructure. The project will start in the fall of 2009 and will run for 4 years. It will appoint 17 junior researchers and 3 visiting senior scientists and will organize 10 training events.
