- data creation: very diverse and already somewhat supported.
- data sharing: yes
- data analysis: would be better off on top of shared data

=> go for the data sharing

While there are many tools and methods for both gathering and
analyzing data that are particular to the various subdisciplines,
sharing and publishing of data seems to be the more pressing
issue. The following describes the platform for such a platfrom.
